Project : Nayamat Handa's conceptual shoot!

Updated: Jun 14, 2021

It was my first conceptual shoot. It was the month of march, year 2020. I got a call that day from one of my friend that there's a shoot that I have to conduct along with one more photographer and as I have mentioned before that it was my first conceptual shoot i didn't know anything apart from some technicalities but i was confident enough to play the role of a good photographer.

The shoot was supposed to happen, in a park in Dehli with one model who acts in youtube songs, at 2pm. But the model was delaying the shoot, first due to make-up and then traffic filled the rest of the gap. On the other hand i was losing all my excitement of the shoot.

Then after waiting for almost one and half hour the model came and we started our work.

The challenge there was that there were no props, no lights, no assistants, no makeup artist and same background, that is trees and bushes,

everywhere!

I then begin with taking pictures of her despite of all the odds. Even if there were no props I focused on her expressions, I asked her to bring of all the emotions suppressed inside her, be it anger, happiness, calmness, excitement, adoration , nostalgia and so on, along with some different places , and while she was making all kinds of faces and giving all kinds of gestures and I was constantly capturing the best part of her best expression and the shoot continued to progress like this.

At the end of the day the model called me up and asked me for her images and as I anticipated it happened exactly the same, she was happy 😀 and praised me for taking her amazing pictures in an esthetically deficit environment.

Here are some of the images that i would like to show you i hope you'll like them.

Thank you.
